Isipingo SAPS in partnership with Alpha Alarms. PT Alarms. Isipingo Concerned Residents Association, Boxer Superstore Isipingo, Paniivans and African Bank, invited 12 impoverished families to 67 minutes of free shopping, on Mandela Day. Isipingo SAPS communications officer, Captain David Ragavan sad: “The event has become an annual initiative and bags of clothing were collected through generous donations from the community whilst Boxer Superstores provided food hampers for the families “The stakeholders laid out the clothing items and the invited guests were given 67 minutes to shop for free and take home clothing and other items for their families. The community members were so grateful for the gesture and thanked the sponsors and stakeholders for their generosity. “The protect afforded police members an opportunity to interact with members of the community as well and reach out to them in a meaningful way. We thank all our sponsors and look forward to engaging with the community productively. “We understand that many lace great challenges in the community and by pining hands we can help each other to conquer each day as Mandela did. May the spirit of Tata Madiba continue to live in all our hearts as we strive to build our communities arid enrich lives.” said Ragavan.
