The Boxer Brand Dash took place on 17 May at Boxer Superstore in Central Park in Bloemfontein. One lucky winner walked away with groceries worth R2500 and will appear on TV. Lineo Elisa Thulo from Khayelistsha in Bloemfontein was the lucky winner who got a chance race up and down the aisles of Boxer Superstore and grab R2500 worth of groceries.
“Initially I didn’t know about the competition. I got curious when I went to the shop and saw a poster. I had bought groceries from the store worth R870 and I entered the competition. Thank you so much Boxer Superstore! I still can’t believe I am the winner out of so many people that entered the competition,” said the ecstatic Thulo.
Andrew Mills, Boxer Marketing Director said with the Brand Dash, the winning customer gets the opportunity to come into the store and they get two minutes to run around the store and select ten pre-selected brands. They have a trolley that they use to load these pre-selected items. They can take items valued up to R250 for every brand selected. If the customer manages to collect all ten brands in two minutes, the customer walks away with R2500 worth of groceries. “The great thing about the Boxer Brand Dash is that it is a live event. We have our staff involved and our customers can see what is happening live. We film and edit it and it will appear on TV on eTV and SABC channels. Everyone gets to see a real customer, who shopped in the store, who was one of thousands of people that entered and won,” concluded Mills.
