Boxer Giyani Shoppers

Dear Customers

As a company we have always been open & honest with the thousands of shoppers who walk into our stores every day of the week. On Monday 10th September Environmental Health practitioners from the Mopani District, municipal officials & the media visited 2 of our 257 stores nationwide. During these visits it was reported that one of the upright butchery fridges had malfunctioned which had affected some of the meat products merchandised on the shelves. The items were removed. An internal investigation is currently being conducted by us and we will comment further once the facts are confirmed with the Environmental Health practitioners. We thank all involved for conducting these random spot checks across all formal & informal supermarkets in selected towns.

Boxer can assure all of our shoppers that we welcome any inspection of our stores by health officials nationwide as we are also as enthusiastic about ensuring that only the strictest health & hygiene standards are in place in our stores; as well as in the condition of the fresh & frozen foods that our shoppers purchase from us. All of our meat is supplied from only well established, compliant abattoirs & meat suppliers; all of whom have to strictly comply with our stringent quality standards. Boxer will continue to serve our shoppers with only the best standards that our they both expect, and deserve from our stores. Thank you to all shoppers for your support.
