At the recent Prof Otty Nxumalo Marathon in Vryheid, the spirit of community and athlete-well-being came together beautifully.

Boxer Superstores Vryheid 2 generously donated nutritious bananas to fuel the many athletes participating in the event. These simple yet powerful refreshments offered much-needed natural energy and vitamins for runners tackling the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and full-marathon distances. The marathon itself is a landmark event in the region, growing from modest beginnings and now serving as a qualifier for elite races like the Comrades Marathon and Two Oceans Marathon.
