Durban brought the energy, the smiles and plenty of KZN gees as the 2026 Boxer Super Run took over Blue Lagoon Park on Sunday, 18 October, for an unforgettable morning of fitness, friendship and fun!

Runners, walkers, families and supporters from eThekwini, surrounding communities and across KwaZulu-Natal came together for South Africa's most social 5km run, turning the Durban beachfront into a celebration of everything that makes this event so special.

From serious runners chasing personal bests to friends and families enjoying a fun morning out, there were high-fives, laughter, cheers and a sea of red as participants made their way to the finish line.

The racing action was equally exciting, with Amogelang Tatai claiming the Elite Men's title in an impressive 13:38, while Boxer Athletics Club star Glenrose Xaba raced to victory in the Elite Women's event in 15:29. Congratulations to both champions and every participant who took on the 5km challenge!

For Boxer Superstores, the Super Run is about more than running. It's about bringing people together, encouraging healthy lifestyles and creating memorable experiences for communities to enjoy.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who travelled from near and far, cheered from the sidelines, volunteered or helped make the event possible. Your enthusiasm and support made this year's Durban event truly special!

Durban, you brought the fun. KwaZulu-Natal, you brought the heart!

And the excitement doesn't stop there! Next up is the sold-out Boxer Super Run Joburg on 15 November 2026, where Johannesburg will get its chance to bring the gees!

Thank you, KZN, for making the 2026 Boxer Super Run Durban one to remember!
