For more than two decades, Boxer has been investing in something far bigger than retail — the future leaders of Southern Africa.
Since 2002, the Boxer Youth Leadership Programme has created life-changing opportunities for young learners from South Africa and Eswatini, offering access to leadership development experiences that build confidence, resilience and a belief in what’s possible, regardless of background or circumstance.
Over the course of an intensive, adventure-filled week, learners are challenged to step beyond their comfort zones, work as a team, confront personal barriers and discover strengths they didn’t know they had. Through shared experiences and unique challenges, a powerful sense of camaraderie, self-belief and purpose is formed — often leaving a lasting impact long after the Programme ends.
What sets the Boxer Youth Leadership Programme apart is its purpose: creating equal leadership training grounds and empowering young people to recognise that they have the ability to shape their own futures and uplift their communities.
As we look ahead, we are excited to welcome the Class of 2026, with entries now open and 50 learners set to take part in this year’s Programme. We cannot wait to see the next group of future leaders rise to the challenge and make the most of this incredible opportunity.
Because at Boxer, positively shaping the minds of today’s learners means investing in the leaders of tomorrow.
